     Known to all as "Web", Daniel went to Minnesota from Maine in 1847. He served several years as Stillwater's city treasurer and was engaged in the livery business for many years. The last twelve years of his life he operated a cigar and candy store in Stillwater.
Daniel was born on 25 January 1838 at Baring, ME.1 He married Charlotte Cover on 12 April 1859 at Stillwater, MN.2 Daniel died on 2 January 1915 at Stillwater, MN, at age 76.2
