     His body was interred at Drew Cemetery, Parkman, ME.1 It is believed that he was the son of Joseph, born 9 Dec 1777 at Durham, NH and Elizabeth Shaw. There is a possibility that he was descended from one the above named Joseph's brothers. His grandparents were Elijah and Lucy Chesley Drew. Like others who pioneered Parkman, Joseph and Charlotte had to clear the land and build their own dwelling and out buildings. The original buildings were destroyed by fire but Joseph replaced them with a fine house and other buildings.

Joseph was born on 18 December 1807 at Newfield, ME. He married Charlotte Agnes McKusick on 27 June 1833 at Limerick, ME.2 Joseph died on 18 January 1880 at Parkman, ME, at age 72.1
