He was still alive and married to his 2nd wife, Ruth, in 1679 and apparently died prior to 1684 as his widow married Thomas Dutton of Billerica on 10 Nov. of that year. William's 1st wife was named Elizabeth.
He married Elizabeth Marshall. William was born circa 1617 at Reading?, England. William died on 5 December 1678 at Reading, MA.

     Robert is the son of Robert Huste who sailed from Weymouth, England with the Joseph Hull group on 20 Mar 1635 for New England. He was a freeman at Stamford in 1663 (recorded as Husted). He moved to what is now Westchester County, NY in 1662. In 1673 he was recorded as swearing allegiance to the Dutch as a Quaker. He is listed in the Encyclopedia of of American Quaker Genealogy by Wm. W. Hinshaw. as an active member from 1684. Other ref. "Old Fairfield" by D. L. Jacobus, Gen. Pub. Co. 1976. His will was proved 20 Mar 1704/05.
Robert Huestis was also known as Husted. Robert was born circa 1628 at Pilsdon?, Dorset, England. He married Elizabeth Buxton on 9 January 1656 at Stamford, CT. Robert died on 23 November 1704 at Westchester, NY.
