"Joseph William Livingstone, first child of Laura and John Livingstone
married Alice McKusick of Pine City, MN. Bill Livingstone graduated from the
University of Illinois at Champaigne on June 2, 1905; interned at St.
Joseph's Hospital in St. Paul, MN; did post graduate work at Harvard
University and the University of Vienna; practiced in North Dakota and went
to Wisconsin,Illinois in 1914. He served during WWI as a Major in the
Medical Division of the 315th Engineers and returned to Hudson, WI. in July
1919, where he practiced the rest of his life. Bill Livingstone was health
officer of Hudson,Wisconsin for many years. He was honoured at the age of
seventy-five by the townspeople of Hudson for their high esteem, respect and
recognition of his services. Bill and Alice were married late in life. No
issue. They have both deceased, although Alice's death date was not found."

Joseph was born on 21 January 1881 at Ann Arbor, MI. He married Alice Harriet McKusick on 11 April 1914 at St. Paul, MN. His body was interred in July 1956 at Willow River, Hudson, WI. Joseph died on 25 July 1956 at Hudson, WI, at age 75.

     He was a World War I veteran serving with the 313th Field Signal Battalion.
